This movie features an actor like Pankaj Tripathi, who has portrayed his character of Monty Sisodia to perfection. Even his wife’s character, Kajol Ghosh, played by Konkana Sen Sharma, shows her great acting prowess.
She is remarkable as an angry Bong woman who is not happy when she discovers that her husband is cheating on her through a dating app.

The movie is quite different from its first installment, Life in a Metro, which was a serious reality check on the lives of people living in Metros. The second subplot in the movie, which is worth watching, is between Anupam Kher and Neena Gupta. Although the movie is not great in terms of plot, the subplots make it funny. It illustrates how mundane marriages can be and how they often require revitalization from time to time. If you are a Pankaj Tripathi fan, this movie is a must-watch for you. Even Sara Ali Khan’s character, which shows an HR professional unable to retaliate against sexual harassment, is fresh. This shows that sometimes, the prevention of sexual harassment(POSH)is not implemented seriously in Indian companies, and women have to resign when they protest. Aditya Roy Kapur’s character, Parth, is a sensible Bangalorean who also comes across as a nice gentleman, dropping a girl off at her house when she mistakenly enters his house in a state of stupor. The movie portrays his character as an ideal gentleman who embodies qualities that girls want in a man today. There is also a take on the sexual orientation of Gen Z these days, who get confused due to the excessive availability of porn on the internet. It shows how vulnerable they have become due to their exposure to such stuff.
The movie could even have been better if there were not so many songs in the movie, acting as an interruption. The director Anurag Basu has tried to ensure that the songs are melodious for Gen Z, but they lack good lyrics.
Overall, these kinds of Bollywood movies 2025 are not a miss if you want to watch a comedy in times of OTT, where every other show is about crime and sex.
