Saiyaara released in 2025, is the highest-growth movie(500 crores) of this year so far. It is a romantic genre movie released after a long time. Saiyaara is not a romantic comedy movie, but a serious romantic drama.
The biggest question is what the movie has done for the careers of newcomers Ahaan Pandey and Aneet Padda. Ahaan Pandey is a nepo-kid and has a bright future ahead of him. For those of you who don’t know, he is the nephew of Chunky Pandey. Ahaan has already been signed for a 3-movie contract with Yash Raj Films. However, it can’t be denied that he possesses star quality, which drew the audience to the theaters. Pandey’s success as a newcomer is unprecedented compared to the likes of Junaid Khan, Ibrahim Ali Khan Patuadi, given that these two are the sons of mainstream heroes. Aamir Khan and Saif Ali Khan. Ahaan’s uncle, Chunky Pandey, has not done a mainstream role in Bollywood for a long time and does small comic roles. Ahaan has done justice to his role, and his different looks and tall, lean frame are the talk of the town.
Aneet Padda, on the other hand, also had acting experience before this movie. She does not have a typical Bollywood face card and can’t be compared to actresses of today, who have perfect face cards like Rasha Thadani. But her superb acting skills can’t be denied. In this movie, she played the love interest of Ahaan’s character, Krish Kapoor. Well, the protagonist suffering from amnesia in a movie is nothing new, but the director added a new twist with the heroine suffering from Alzheimer’s, which is a lifelong disease and is incurable.
Saiyaara is the perfect launch pad for Ahaan Pandey, and in the future, he is asking for higher-salaried projects.
He and Aneet are also looking at endorsement deals.
Both newcomers played their roles brilliantly. In our country, where love is no longer seen as a necessary trait of life, this movie breaks the stereotype. The hero decides not to leave his lady love when she experiences memory loss; in fact, he continues to search for her. This is very different from the last romantic movie I saw in a theater. The last romantic movie released was Lovyaapa, which had a completely different storyline. In this movie, there was some skepticism shown to the romance of the couple by the girl’s father. This movie didn’t have the depth of Saiyaara and its music. Therefore, the movie Lovyaapa didn’t strike a chord with the audience. The movie was quite modern, and many of its histrionics were hard to believe. That’s not the case with Saiyaara, which has nothing incredible in its screenplay. It is quite believable because it looks real, right down to the attire of Aneet Padda as Vaani.
