Ranbir Kapoor belongs to the Bollywood clan of Kapoor family. He comes from a family of actors. He has given some awe-inspiring performances in his movies, such as Animal, which was released last year. In this blog, we are going to talk about upcoming Ranbir Kapoor movies.

Love and War

We will see him pairing with his wife, Alia Bhatt, in Love and War. The trailer of the movie has not been released yet. It was earlier supposed to be released on Christmas 2025, but now the release has been postponed to March 2026. This is the first movie in which Vicky Kaushal will be working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Both Alia Bhatt(GanguBai Kathiawadi) and Ranbir Kapoor(Saanwariya) have worked with Bhansali in movies. This movie is going to be a hit because Alia Bhatt has said in an interview that its story is exceptional.

Ramayana 1

Next in line is Ramayana 1, which is ready for release. This movie portrays Ranbir as Lord Ram, who is going to rescue his wife Sita (Sai Pallavi) from Ravana (Yash). Fans are eagerly awaiting the release of this movie. It is going to be released on Diwali 2026. The movie is being prepared in two parts:  Ramayana 1 and 2. Sunny Deol is going to portray Lord Hanuman. The first movie is going to end when Mata Sita is kidnapped by Ravana. Ravi Dubey, the famous TV actor, is going to portray Lord Lakshaman. This movie will be directed by Nitesh Tiwari, who has written award-winning movies like Chillar Party, Dangal and Chichhore.

Brahmastra:Part 2

The next exciting venture in the lineup of Ranbir Kapoor movies is Brahmastra:Part 2.

Its first part was released in September 2022. Ayan Mukherji had shown in this movie Astraverse where every entitled person(astra) possesses a power. Shiva, played by Ranbir Kapoor, possessed the power of fire(Agniastra). He could ignite fire and control it. Brahmastra is an indestructible weapon created by Lord Brahma. Only certain people can control, like Arjun, Karan and Ashwathama and his father Dronacharya in the Mahabharata. Since the Brahmastra has the power to destroy the world, it needs to be tamed. Hence, the Himalayan sages have been controlling it by forming a mysterious society known as Brahmansh. In the first movie, Shiva protects the Brahmastra from falling into the hands of the evil forces.  Shiva also learned about his origins.

His mother, Amrita had the Jalastra; she could control water, and his father, Dev, could control all the Astras. Dev and Amrita died over the Brahmastra because Dev wanted to possess it. They died in their battle. Brahmastra is divided into three pieces. Two of the pieces were found, and the 3^rd’s location is unknown. Finally, the third piece is also found when Shiva’s blood drips on Amrita’s conch shell. Finally, Shiva can control the Brahamastra.

In, Brahmastra:Part 2, when Dev and Amrita will be revealed, is going to be released in December 2026. Amrita will be played by Deepika Padukone in this movie, who had a special appearance in the first movie. This was one of the most admirable Ranbir Kapoor movies.
