Bajirao Mastani(2015): In this movie, she played a Rajput princess named Mastani, who falls in love with a married Maratha warrior, Bajirao (Ranveer Singh Bhavnani). His family does not accept him. His wife, Kashibai(Priyanka Chopra), also notices his gesture towards her. He marries Mastani, although he also tells her that she won’t get any respect in the kingdom. In the end, Mastani and her son are killed by Bajirao’s family, and he too dies. This was a tragic love story, but it was well-received by the audience.

Pathaan(2023): It’s about an Indian spy(Shahrukh Khan) who has to fight another spy gone rogue(John Abraham). Pathaan has to defeat Jim because he has a virus named Rakhtbeej, which he plans to launch on India. But Jim already has plans to defeat Pathaan. He has recruited a Pakistani spy in his team, Rubina Mohsin, played by Deepika Padukone, who acts as if she is betraying Jim and joins hands with Pathaan. They both steal the virus Rakhtbeej from Russia, but Rubina betrays him, and Pathan is captured by the Russian police. Rubina hands over the virus to Jim. Pathaan is released by the Indian RAW agent Tiger, played by Salman Khan, who has a special appearance in the movie. Later, when Pathaan meets his head Nandini, she traces Rubina’s location in Paris. He contacts her and finds out she feels remorse for giving Rakhtbeej to Jim, which is a smallpox virus and can kill people immediately. How Rubina and Pathan reunite and stop Jim from wreaking havoc on India and the rest of the countries is to be watched in the movie. It’s one of those Deepika Padukone movies where she has given the most noticeable performance. Pathaan was the comeback movie of Shahrukh Khan and made 1050 crores at the box office.
