Shivgami had saved the life of Bahubali’s son, carrying him by one hand through the waters of the river, although Kattapa is shown killing Amerandra Bahubali on her orders at the end of the 1st movie. The first movie is about how the Amburi tribe raises the infant and names him Siva. How he falls in love with Avantika, who plays a rebel trying to end the rule of Bhalladeva, Shivagami’s own son. The biggest strength of the movie was its VFX effects. The film was a success worldwide and earned 600-650 crore worldwide. This was the second maximum earned by an Indian movie all over the world, but the highest by a Telugu movie.
