The Jurassic World movies have been known to attract the audience to the theaters, the young and the adults. It’s because they want to see dinosaurs that they can’t see in real life. These dinosaurs and the adventures of humans with them, including the risk of death, form the crux of such movies.
There is now the seventh installment of this franchise, Jurassic World: Rebirth.
It includes a team that goes near the equator to get the blood samples of the largest dinosaurs residing on Earth, water, and air. It is not an easy task, given that these dinosaurs are mutated and carnivorous.
Scarlett Johansson’s character, Zora Bennett, is hired for this mission by the representative of the medical company, Martin Krebs, who wants to manufacture a medicine through these blood samples to prevent heart disease. Scarlett is accompanied on this risky venture in Jurassic World: Rebirth by Jonathan Bailey of Bridgeton fame, playing Dr Henry Loomis, a palaeontologist in the movie. The company InGen, which was mutating dinosaurs to create new dinosaur breeds, had to flee the island when one of the species attacked them. Since then, humans have been warned not to enter the island of Saint-Hubert. Zora also hires her former teammate on the Suriname island, Duncan Kincaid, to be a part of the expedition. The team also rescues a family whose motorboat is attacked by a Mosasaurus. Then, the team encounters Mosasaurus on their way to Saint-Hubert. It attacks their ship, and Bobby, another team member, tries to shoot it, but it is devoured by the dinosaur. They get the blood sample of the dinosaur, but it attacks the ship, and all the members have to leave the ship after it crashes against the rocks. When the ship’s members are unpacking their stuff, Spinosaurus attacks and eats a crew member.
Then, in the forest of Saint-Hubert, they see the majestic herbivorous dinosaur Titanosaurus and get its blood sample. The rest of the movie is about the team getting the blood sample from the eggs of the carnivorous avian dinosaur Quetzalcoatlus and how they return to Suriname Island from where they had started their journey. Dinosaurs devouring humans is nothing new about these Jurassic World movies. However, this movie has shown mutated dinosaurs like Titanosaurus, Spinosaurus, and a mutated Tyrannosaurus Rex, never before seen in such movies. Distortus rex, with an abnormally large head, is also seen at the end of the movie.
Jurassic World: Rebirth is a great movie for an audience who are fans of Dinosaurs. So, with its spectacular VFX effects, this movie is the 4th highest earning movie of 2025 with an income of $867 million.
