The Electric state(Futuristic)

It is about the dystopian times when a war between humans and robots has destroyed the world. The humans have won the war because, through Neurocaster technology, they can transfer their minds into robots and control them. The central character of the movie is a girl named Michelle who has lost her father and brother Christopher in an accident, but discovers that Christopher’s mind is used to control the robots. He was a genius, and after the accident, he was left in a vegetative state. She discovers through Cosmo, a robot, that her brother is in a coma, but his mind is still being used. How Michelle ensures that her brother’s mind is not exploited anymore, and he can die peacefully, forms the story of the movie. The movie has actors like Millie Bobby Brown and Chris Pratt, who are known for their acting.  It has great special effects since Cosmo is a huge robot and can pick up buses.  It was released on March 14 this year.

A Widow’s Game (Crime)

This movie has a woman who makes her lover murder her husband. It’s one of the best movies on Netflix right now, including every element like seduction, emotional blackmail and murder. It’s a cliché plot being the subject of many movies in Bollywood, like Jism starring Bipasha Basu, Dr Freddy. Eva is a cop in the movie whose team discovers the dead body of a man, Arturo. The suspect is his widow, Maje. She works at a hospital. She is living a double life. In the day, she acts as an innocent woman who is beaten up by her husband. At night, she goes to bars and has sex with men. This movie is based on a real story, the Asanta Case. The movie is in Spanish. Arturo tries to control the promiscuous behaviour of his wife, after which she starts telling her lovers that her husband is abusive. When she develops a relationship with a guy, Salva, she tells him that his love for her is not serious because she wants to incite him to kill her husband. This movie was released on Netflix on 30^th May.

Inspector Zende

It is an interesting crime thriller starring Manoj Vajpayee and Jim Sarbh. Jim Sarbh plays a convict in this movie who has escaped from prison. He is a dangerous criminal, Carl Nagraj, who has committed 32 murders. The title role is played by Manoj Vajpayee as Inspector Zende, a Mumbai Police officer assigned to catch him. He had caught this criminal 15 years ago, and now it is up to him again. How Carl escapes from the police repeatedly can be seen in this movie. It is a cat-and-mouse thriller, apparently based on a real-life incident.
