Personal Taste(2010)
Personal taste is about a furniture designer, Park Gae-in(Son Ye-jin), whom her boyfriend dumps due to her simplicity. Unknown to Gae-in, her boyfriend Han is about to marry her best friend, who lives in her house on rent. Her father is a famous architect, and her house, Sanggojae, which he designed, is an architectural masterpiece. She is lazy and meets the ambitious and hardworking architect Jeon Jin-ho, played by Lee Min-ho. She allows him to shift to her house on rent. Also, she thinks he won’t be a problem because, as per her idea, he is gay. Jin-Ho wants to study the house’s design for the betterment of his skills. Also, he tells Gae-in how to win her boyfriend back. Jin-Ho and Gae-in fall in love, and her personality type undergoes a change. She becomes hardworking and even wins her boyfriend back, but chooses Jin-Ho instead.

City Hunter(2011)
City Hunter is a 20-episode series featuring Lee Min Ho looking for revenge. It is available on Prime Video. This movie features a surviving assassin Lee Jin-pyo, who was one of the five soldiers sent by South Korea to North Korea in 1983 to kill their officials. After the operation was over, South Korea killed all the assassins, but Jin-pyo survived. He decides to take revenge against those who ordered their killing. He raises and trains one of his colleague’s son, Lee Yoon-Sung(Lee Min-Ho), and ensures that he enters the Blue House, which is the presidential office of Korea, and kills all five officials responsible for ordering for killing of assassins. He works in the Blue House as an IT executive with a fake ID.
Yoon-Sung does his job perfectly. How he carries out his job will have to be watched. When he is unable to kill the 5th official, Jin-pyo intervenes and dies while saving Yoon-Sung from forces.
Pachinko 2(2024)
The next most romantic Korean drama is the famous series Pachinko.
Its second season, Pachinko 2, is featured now on Apple TV+. In the first season of this serial, Lee Min Ho played the negative role of a rich man, Koh Hansu, who seduces a young woman, Kim Sunja and makes her pregnant. When she tells him that, he reveals to her that he is married and has kids. Hansu’s father-in-law works for a crime-based organization. After Sunja had married Isak Baek, due to her pregnancy, she had moved to Osaka in Japan. 14 years have passed since Sunja became married and gave birth to a son. The name of her son is Noa. Sunja lives in Japan with two sons Noa Baek and Mozasu Baek. She has forgotten Hansu. Isak, played by Steve Noh, has been arrested by the police for his participation in a political uprising. Sunja encounters Hansu again. She meets Hansu in Osaka, where Japan is in the throes of war with the US.After some time, Noa soon discovers that his father is Koh Hansu.
Sunja sells Kimchi to make ends meet for her family while her husband is in jail. The US was threatening to bomb Japan because, although Germany had surrendered in May 1945, Japan was still refusing to surrender. Japan finally surrendered in August 1945 after the infamous Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings. What happens next in Packinko 2 can be seen on Apple TV+.
