They hit a girl with their car and then take her in as a maid. The trailer reveals that Teodora becomes friendly in a creepy way with the wife, Esther, in the couple, but the husband, John, refuses to accept it. She becomes friendly with the couple’s daughter, Alba.
This movie is a must-watch due to its creepy plot, which slowly unravels itself. The movie has a deadly ending and should only be watched by the brave-hearted.
Fear Street: Prom Queen
Next on the list is ‘Fear Street: Prom Queen,’ a different kind of Netflix horror movie. Set in the 1980s, it depicts contestants in a prom queen competition being murdered one by one. The film features Lori Granger and Tiffany Falconer, high school students at Shadyside High School, competing for the title. Lori has a bad reputation, as it is rumored that her mother killed her father. Tiffany is the school’s favorite and is known along with her three friends as the wolfpack. The story appears to be inspired by the famous Hollywood movie “Mean Girls,” where an outcast, Lori, causes a popular girl, Tiffany, to lose in the prom competition. In this epic movie, Victor Frankenstein is a genius scientist who decides to infuse life into dead bodies through electricity. He creates a monster in this experiment. The monster played by Jacob Elordi kills humans because they fear him, but he craves a female partner. Frankenstein refuses to create one for him, after which the monster kills his partner. Since the movie has been directed by Guillermo del Toro, who is known for his movies such as The Shape of Water, which even won the Academy Award for best movie in 2018, and Hellboy, this movie will be a feast for the eyes for the audience.

There are also Netflix horror movies in Hindi for the Indian audience. Maa (2025) is a film featuring Kajol, who goes to sell her dead husband’s ancestral home in Chandrapur, West Bengal. Little does she know that the story of the village being cursed is true. The village is home to the ancient monster Raktabheej, who was killed by Goddess Kali. He wants to impregnate the girls of Kajol’s husband’s family, and therefore, this family does not produce girls. They sacrifice infant girls for this reason. But Kajol’s husband has a daughter with her. Raktabheej, who takes the human form of Amsaja, wants to have a child with Shweta to carry his lineage forward. It was released on August 22nd.
